In order to fully leverage the bridge and linkage role of the Zhejiang Semiconductor Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as the “Association”), strengthen exchanges between the Association and semiconductor industry platforms and enterprises, gain insights into corporate operations, and promote industry development, the Association visited Qiantang District, Hangzhou, on April 8. The visit focused on gaining an in-depth understanding of the current development status and needs of the semiconductor industry in the district, promoting the upgrading of Qiantang District’s semiconductor industry. Senior Advisor Chen Guanglei and Deputy Secretary-General Chen Lixia led a delegation to conduct an industrial development symposium at Qiantang Chip Valley, followed by on-site visits to relevant enterprises in the district for industrial exchange and guidance.
The symposium was hosted by Wei Min, Deputy Director of the Qiantang Chip Valley Management Office, accompanied by Fang Jia, Director of the Platform Promotion Department, and relevant staff. During the meeting, Director Wei provided a detailed introduction to the current development status of Qiantang Chip Valley and proposed future planning directions—focusing on attracting semiconductor projects, actively seeking semiconductor industry funds and financial subsidies, and vigorously building an innovative semiconductor service platform. Senior Advisor Chen Guanglei offered suggestions on Qiantang Chip Valley’s development goals, encouraging innovative thinking and bold initiatives, integrating existing advantages with semiconductor industry development plans to achieve mutual reinforcement. He also affirmed the platform’s current talent system, noting that these semiconductor professionals would become valuable resources for the platform’s future development.

Subsequently, the Association visited Hangzhou Haiqian Semiconductor Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Haiqian Semiconductor”). Chairman Kong Lingyi accompanied the delegation on a tour of the epitaxial wafer production workshop, introduced the manufacturing process, showcased relevant equipment, and presented the company’s overall profile and future strategic development goals. Chen Guanglei advised the company to actively seek cooperative partners, expand its advantages, enhance production capacity, and increase brand recognition.

Finally, the Association visited Baoding Qianxin Integrated Circuit (Hangzhou) Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Ounuo Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Zhegui Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd., Hangzhou Curies Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd., and Hangzhou Angkun Semiconductor Equipment Co., Ltd. Representatives introduced their respective development status and needs. After presenting an overview of Zhejiang’s semiconductor production line distribution, Chen Guanglei analyzed each company’s situation, addressed questions, and encouraged enterprises to expand production capacity, accelerate mass production, generate revenue, and open up broader markets.

This series of symposiums and visits not only deepened communication and collaboration between the Association and semiconductor enterprises in Qiantang District, but also provided valuable ideas and pathways for the district’s semiconductor industry development. The Association will continue to strengthen industrial exchanges with Qiantang District, support its growth into a new semiconductor industry hub in Hangzhou, and jointly promote the industry to reach new heights.
